Using the "Extract" dialog we can extract icons from resource files like exe, dll, ocx. IcoFX can extract Windows Vista icons (PNG compressed) also. When we try to extract from a resource file this dialog is automatically shown. It contains a list of the icons in the resource file. We can see after the name of the icon the number of images that it contains. If we select more than one icon then all the selected icons will be opened in the IcoFX workspace for editing. You have to save each one separately. If you want to extract all the the icons from an icon without editing then use the "Batch Process" Dialog.
